Junior Anglers

Katherine Game Fishing Club has a strong commitment to encouraging junior anglers.  Annual club awards include both champion angler and champion catch & release categories for juniors (anglers aged from 10 - 16 years) and sub-juniors (anglers aged from 0 - 9).

The Club's Big Horse Creek Barra Classic also has categories for both junior classes with the addition of perpetual trophies for largest catch & release Barra in each class.

In 2007-08, Katherine Game Fishing Club will be holding a number of clinics designed specifically for juniors, details as follows:

• Clinic Number 2                29th March 2008

• Clinic Number 3                12th April 2008

• Clinic Number 4                10th May 2008

• Clinic Number 5                31st May 2008

• Clinic Number 6                14th June 2008
