Our Club

Incorporated in 1988, Katherine Game Fishing Club has grown from humble beginnings into a Club for both freshwater and saltwater enthusiasts.

Fishing in the Katherine region encompasses fishing mecca's such as the Roper and Victoria Rivers, King Ash Bay and Borroloola in the gulf of Carpentaria.

The Club hosts the annual Big Horse Creek Barra Classic which is held in May at Timber Creek on the Victoria River.

Monthly committee meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Katherine Club
